Hanneke Krook is the owner of Inter-K, Artist and workshop leader, living and working in the Maastricht area, the Netherlands. Her life evolves around art in many forms, but with painting and drawing as a constant. She was born in 1965 in Santpoort, North Holland. In 1976, at the age of 12, she started taking lessons in portrait and model painting at the local creative center. In 1984 she went to the Royal Academy of Arts in ‘s Hertogenbosch. There she chose to study Fashion, and in 1986 she switchen to study Docent Beeldende Kunst en Vormgeving in Tilburg to become a teacher in textile art. All the while she kept drawing and painting, at first as an amateur with Schildergroep Natuurtuinen Jekerdal in Maastricht, where she also designed the exhibitions where the group showed their work. In 2004 she desided to make her passion into her profession and founded Inter-K. At the moment Hanneke is working on her professional development and her own personal style in art, makes work in commission, teaches and gives workshops in her workplace in Zuid-Limburg, the Netherlands.
