Let the Sunshine In

Material: Acrylic on linen
Size: 215 x 142 cm

Made during the lockdown and confinement caused by Covid-19, this painting as the title is aimed at to bring the sunshine in home to get a warm and soothing feeling.
Born in Brussels, I started painting about 10 years ago after the writing of a thesis on the young generation for art museums. I studied the fundamental techniques at the Uccle School of Art and the Wavre School of Fine Arts. I lived between Brussels and Northern California during 8 years and in 2017 I earned a post-baccalaureate in visual arts at UC Berkeley Extension. My travels pushed me to express universal feelings in my abstract paintings. I am now based in Brussels South where I live and work.
