Rowing slowly and gently following the stream without knowing where it's leading me. And I feel that's it's okay.
Painted in France on an tiny beach at the 'Tarn' and used it's water to paint the Tarn.
I started painting over 20 years ago. At first with oil paint and pictures and photographs as an example. While painting with oil paints you can feel the peace and tranquillity. It is more like meditating. You have to wait a long time before the paint dries. So, you have more than enough time to work the layers together. Or make corrections. Painting with acrylic paints is far more dynamic. The power of acryl is, it challenges you to express your feelings, you don’t have so much time to think and work.
As a Art Therapist, I also paint for my own pleasure. And being a therapist, the subjects of my paintings are who I am. They represent my own processes in life, my little moments in time. Therefore, each painting or drawing is part of me. You get a little insight in my emotional world, my thoughts and my experiences.
I have experienced that people are touched by them and would love them. Warm greetings GiNi
