Climate change

Climate change

Material: Oil on wooden panel
Size: 122 x 92 cm

Changes in the climate and the demise of nature are happening rapidly. Our hope is for the government to do something about this. This work depicts the desperation of people drowning in the water and clinging to an old typewriter that symbolizes the slow-moving government. Rob van Klaveren has chosen this work as his masterpiece because it is a good example of his way of working. He starts from a theme that moves him and then he searches for the images and atmosphere that go with it. The work is impressive and captures the threat of climate change well.
